It's Coming
Duck season is getting closer. I'm starting to see more and more people down at the club finishing things up around their blinds and putting out their decoys. One day this week were supposed to make a ton of decoy weights for my boss's decoys. were gonna melt down lead and put it in muffinpans tomake the wieghts. I guess there is only one month left until duck season opens on thanksgiving. I bet that makes some familys mad because i know people go hunting instead of eating with the family

I'm sure some of the hunters enjoy getting away from everything though. I know bowhunting is a favorite time for me just because i can get away and clear my mind. It's also nice just to get out of town and see some nature.
i literally think there is nothing in this world that i care about as much as you care about duck hunting.
How long does it take for people to have everything ready when it comes to duck hunting? Melting down lead to make weights..that sounds like a good time. My fiances dad melts down lead and makes weights for fishing. I think that would make me mad if my significant other whom I want to spend the holiday with decided to go duck hunting instead of eating the meal I cooked and spending time with the family. Some things are just more important. Have fun!
